Sunday Summary | Back to the North East!

Hello Freckles Sunday Summary Edinburgh Sunset
As I hopped on my train at 9pm on Friday night, I said goodbye to Edinburgh. This time without the feeling that I'd be back in less than 24 hours and slightly sad to leave after a great week with some really lovely people!

I headed up for my third and final Edinburgh trip to be one of the International Television Festival Stewards - you may remember, if you're an avid Hello Freckles reader, I was part of The Network (a talent scheme they run as part of the festival) back in 2013, so I was very excited to go back and see everything from a different perspective.

I'll have a full post about the festival, what I got up to and of course all the Fringe highlights so check back on Tuesday for that. Hopefully I've shaken off this cold by then too - trust me to be ill as soon as I get home and completely write off the bank holiday weekend. On a positive though, at least I've had time to catch up with emails, sleep and finally get round to ruthlessly downsizing my wardrobe.

This time last week I was on my train up after quickly writing this post about my work situation. I've also had a chat about my previous trip to Edinburgh with my sister, where we tried out improv and shared my 5 From This Month.

It's not to late to nominate me in the North East Blogger Awards. Nominate me for Best Lifestyle, Best Looking (referring to my layout/photos/writing style - not my general appearance!) or even Best North East Blog if you like to this post about Show Beauty. A huge thank you to any of you who have already nominated me, I'd be absolutely delighted to be shortlisted this year and head along to the awards ceremony. Everyone likes an excuse to wear a nice dress, right?

  1. Haha, totally agree. Nice dress is always a good choice ;)

  2. I have always wanted to visit Edinburgh and seen so much going on there this Summer that I need to plan a trip xx

    1. Definitely get yourself there, hotels are more expensive during August due to the Fringe Festival being on, so perhaps head up during Spring instead to see the city when it's (slightly) quieter! x

  3. Can't wait to read about the festival :)
    Great photo too!

I really appreciate your feedback in the comments and I read every one! I'll try to reply to each one where relevant.
