Sunday Summary #20

May 18, 2014

As always I've had a busy week and the final deadline for our dissertation project is only five days away! It's scary and I've spent hours in the edit room!

I did want to get along to more events for NE1's Newcastle Fashion Week, but I had to make dissertation and uni work the priority. From what I heard, the Clueless event seemed like a lot of fun and it was a shame to miss a few others.

I went along to the DYO Jewellery event this week though and I'm really glad I went. I'll be putting up a full post about the event next week, but I had a lovely night and it was nice to meet some new bloggers too.

I handed in my final written assignment this week and gave a blogging workshop to students who were visiting the uni. I really enjoyed chatting about blogging, both Hello Freckles and what I've been doing as one of the Lives Online bloggers for uni.

After almost two months of no trips to the cinema, we went along last night to see Godzilla and there's still maybe four films I want to see that are currently out! After our dissertation is handed in on Friday though, I'll be able to do anything so multiple cinema trips may be happening.

Today I put my hayfever to the test and took a wander into one of those lovely looking yellow fields. I do want to get more outfit posts up on Hello Freckles and I'm really happy with the photos from today, so keep an eye out for them as they should be up next week too! I hope the weather stays like this, I'm enjoying not wearing tights and would like to keep it that way until at least September!

I've got a pretty busy week coming up, not only because it's my final big deadline but I'm working at a conference too, which should be really exciting and be great for networking.

I've put up a full post (here) about my recent Zip Wire Challenge if you'd like to see (both photos and a video) how it went!

What've you been up to this week?

  1. It's exactly a year since I handed in my dissertation and it's so weird knowing it's been all over for over a year now! Good luck! :)
